Wir verwenden Shrimps aus ASC-zertifizierten Aquakulturen, da diese die beste Alternative zum Wildfang sind.

Unsere ASC-zertifizierten Shrimps

Unsere ASC-zertifizierten Shrimps (Litopenaeus vannamei) stammen aus einer Aquakultur in Asien (Vietnam). Wir haben uns für Shrimps aus Aquakultur entschieden, da das zur Zeit der höchste Standard für die aus einer Zucht stammende Garnelen ist.

Die ASC-Shrimps werden während der Verarbeitung kurz blanchiert. Dadurch bekommen sie ihre schöne rosa Farbe. Anschließend werden sie sofort tiefgefroren - natürlich nur ein einziges mal (Single frozen).

On every FRoSTA package you will find an 8-digit production code (starting with L). When you enter this code in the Ingredient Tracker, the origin of the ingredients for exactly the FRoSTA product you are holding in your hand will be listed. The code is an eight-digit sequence of numbers and letters. It begins with "L" and is located on the back or on the side flap of the packaging - directly below the best before date.
