Reis

Dieser Langkornreis von FRoSTA ist mit dem sogenannten "parboiling Verfahren" behandelt. Mithilfe von heißem Dampf werden wichtige Vitamine und Mineralstoffe, die vorwiegend in der Außenhaut des Reis enthalten sind, in das Korn gepresst. So bleiben sie auch nach dem Schälen und Polieren des Reis weitestgehend erhalten. Dadurch hat Parboiled-Reis deutlich mehr Nährstoffe als herkömmlich behandelter weißer Reis.
