Basmatireis

Basmatireis ist ein hocharomatischer Langkorn-Reis, der in den traditionellen Anbaugebieten am Fuße des Himalaja angebaut wird. Seine zarten Körner entfalten beim Kochen einen köstlichen Duft und bleiben wunderbar locker. Laut indischer und pakistanischer Zulassung dürfen nur 15 Sorten als Basmatireis bezeichnet werden. Damit alle Zutaten gleichzeitig fertig werden, wird der Reis vor seinem Einsatz in unseren FRoSTA Gerichten vorgekocht.

On every FRoSTA package you will find an 8-digit production code (starting with L). When you enter this code in the Ingredient Tracker, the origin of the ingredients for exactly the FRoSTA product you are holding in your hand will be listed. The code is an eight-digit sequence of numbers and letters. It begins with "L" and is located on the back or on the side flap of the packaging - directly below the best before date.
